Mary Camden's character brought her into the spotlight in 7th Heaven by WB. Her popularity was phenomenal for her role. However, she felt she was portraying Mary Camden in the negative way would limit her capacity to be a good actor. To alter the perception, she appeared as a model on Gear cover in a partially dressed. This act of Jessica created much uproar among the fans of her. She was kicked out of 7th Heaven at the end of its sixth season. In the film Ulee's Gold, she gained immediate recognition for her outstanding acting. In fact, she was awarded the award for best supporting young actress award for this movie. Summer Catch is a great example of her talent. Despite her impressive performance in Rules of Attraction her film did not receive much success. The Texas Chainshaw Massacre horror film had the attention of the general public. She is a successful actor who has appeared in a variety of suspense movies.
