Marilu Henner is a modern-day woman who is full of energy and wisdom. She is an author as well as a health and fitness expert, talk show host and producer. Dancer and director. Comedienne and model. But most important of all, she's the mother and wife! Perpetual Motion has no doubt given her the name. Marilu's lifestyle has been an example of her healthy method of living. She believes that good health will allow people to accomplish anything. However, it wasn't always that way. Her diet was one of yoyos in her teens, and was watching her weight soar. The emotional eater who felt sick and unhealthy all the every day. Her parents both passed away in their 50's-her mother from complications from arthritis and her father due to a heart attack--she knew she needed to take charge of her health to ensure they could ensure that the same fate befall her. The focus was not on dieting it was about health and the ability to live a life in a way that allowed the body was designed to function.
